Regardless, even in the world of heroes, certain individuals still stand out as “honorable’ due to their exploits and unshakeable zeal to protect people under their watch. In other words, despite the numerous achievements of many Pro Heroes in the world of My Hero Academia, some stand out as iconic.

This article contains developments not yet revealed in My Hero Academia’s anime.

8 Katsuki Bakugo – Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight

When Bakugo was first introduced in the first season of My Hero Academia, he embodied the attributes of a bully, mainly concerned with securing his education as a Hero-in-training at U.A. High School. Thanks to his powerful Quirk, Explosion, he got into the sterling academy after acing the enrollment exam. Constantly throughout My Hero Academia’s story arcs, Bakugo changed slowly, gradually evolving into a truly honorable hero.

Although he wouldn’t admit that he cares about people due to his Tsundere character, Bakugo personifies what it means to be a true hero. At the height of the battle against the Villain League, Bakugo protected Deku by impaling his body on one of Tomura Shigaraki’s attacks. Even though he didn’t die, Bakugo was willing to put his life on the line for Deku, making him one of the most honorable characters in My Hero Academia.

7 Keigo Takami – Hawks

Presently, Keigo Takami, with the hero name “Hawks,” is the number 2 Pro Hero. Despite being incredibly young, using his intelligence and superior battle wits, he became successful earlier than most heroes in the Hero industry. Being the number 2 Hero, it is established that Hawks’ skills as a Hero are top-notch. However, Hawks’ skills as a hero are not the only remarkable thing to note about him.

On several occasions in the series, Hawks has willingly volunteered to do the dirty work of the Hero Association, such as infiltrating Villain organization bases and putting his life on the line. His sacrifice and efforts easily makes him one of the most honorable characters in My Hero Academia.

6 Shoto Aizawa – Eraser Head

Shoto Aizawa, alternatively known by his hero name, Eraser Head, is the committed teacher of Class 1-A in U.A. High School. Aizawa is a strict and reserved man who gives off a cold and standoffish vibe to his students on most occasions. However, beneath his strict mask, Aizawa deeply cares for his students. Aizawa uses his stern reprimands to remind his trainee students of the high stakes that are required to be a Hero.

On several occasions, Aizawa has proved to be an honorable character, saving his students from dangerous situations. However, fan readers witnessed his true valor in the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, where he was willing to slice off one of his legs to stop Tomura Shigaraki from progressing with his evil plans.

5 Enji Todoroki – Endeavour

Endeavor was formerly the number 2 Pro Hero of the Hero Association; he was a character that was overshadowed by All Might, one of the greatest Pro Heroes in My Hero Academia. However, after All Might gave his Quirk to Deku as a result of a deathly injury, he had no choice but to step down as number one Pro Hero, leaving the spot to Endeavor.

Initially, Endeavor was focused on surpassing the Symbol of Peace, All Might, but after stepping into the position, he realized what was truly at stake. Putting his pride aside, Endeavor asked All Might for tips on how to be the ideal Hero. Coupled with this development, Endeavor also changed his attitude towards the members of the family he scarred emotionally and physically. Presently, Endeavor has a lot of achievements and continues to strive to be the ideal Pro Hero.

4 Mirio Togata – Lemilion

Miro Togata with the hero name, Lemilion is a U.A. student in Class 3-B. Even among most Pro Heroes, Lemilion can be considered the most honorable. First off, All Might wanted him to be his successor, and it would have been the case if he hadn’t met Midoriya Izuku – Deku. Fans witnessed Mirio’s indomitability and strong will in the battle he and Deku fought against the powerful villain, Overhaul.

In the battle, Lemilion displayed the qualities of a true hero. He sacrificed his Quirk, jeopardizing his chances of being a hero in the future, just to save Eri. This development alone makes him one of the most honorable characters in My Hero Academia.

3 Sorahiko Torino – Gran Torino

Gran Torino is one of the key characters in My Hero Academia. He is All Might’s mentor and is a retired Pro Hero. However, despite being an old, retired Pro Hero, he still took on the strenuous task of training the young & energetic Deku on how to fully utilize the potential of his Quirk. As a Pro Hero with years of experience, Gran Torino possesses exceptional wit and intelligence.

However, above all of his noticeable virtues, Gran Torino’s honorable character is well-deserved of praise. Gran Torino put his life on the life to save Endeavor during his fight with Shigaraki Tomura. Although it is not yet officially confirmed that Gran Torino is dead, he took a deathly blow from Shigaraki – a blow enough to remove him permanently from the Hero industry and destroy his Quirk. Regardless of the outcome of Gran Torino’s sacrifice, he will always be one of the most honorable characters in My Hero Academia.

2 Midoriya Izuku – Deku

Every anime fan that has read or watched the My Hero Academia series knows just how honorable Deku is. He is a Pro Hero that inherited the Quirk, One For All, from his mentor, All Might. Deku is a hero with the honorable aim of growing stronger to save people without any negative consequences – the qualities of a true Hero.

Throughout My Hero Academia episodes & manga chapters, Deku has accomplished a lot of heroic exploits despite being a young Pro Hero. In the battle against Overhaul, he saved Eri alongside Lemilion. In the Liberation Arc, he stopped Shigaraki Tomura occasionally. As the main character of the shonen series, it is only natural that Deku is an honorable character. Regardless, his actions as a hero are worthy of praise.

1 Toshinori Yagi – All Might

Undoubtedly, All Might is one of the most honorable characters in My Hero Academia. All Might, the former number one Pro Hero and the eighth user of the Quirk, One For All, set the standard for what it means to be a true Hero. During his prime, All Might saved a lot of people from dangerous situations before experiencing an accident that destroyed his internal organs.

Regardless, even after passing his Quirk to Midoriya Izuku, All Might still manage to battle powerful villains using the small remaining residue of the One For All Quirk. His sacrifices as a Hero will always remain a legacy in the world of Heroes in My Hero Academia.
