The fan favorites have essentially been determined by now, based on their Quirks and personality traits, but sadly there is one individual who often falls through the cracks, left forgotten or sidelined as a support Hero. Mezo Shoji does not receive the credit he is due for having one of the strongest and most versatile Quirks out of his classmates, with an all-around application on the battlefield and enough stamina to form a one-man army all by himself....

Some characters, such as Deku, get a lot of character development and backstory while others, like Ojiro, don’t get much character development at all. There are also characters such as Uraraka who get character development mainly off-screen. With all this uneven character development, one has to wonder if the series has too many characters to handle.
