Emma Meesseman, who scored 22 points of the bench for the Mystics, was named WNBA Finals MVP. The Belgian native sat out last season and watched as Washington was swept by Seattle in the Finals. Needless to say, the Mystics were more than happy to welcome her back into the fold....
Should Mahomes lead the Chiefs to another ring, it’s true he would be the first QB to repeat since Brady. In Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet Episode 8, we learn a shocking revelation that ties various themes and plot lines of the previous episodes together. Some may recall the episode where Ian and CW Longbottom were trying to come up with an identity for The Masked Man, only for Longbottom to eventually just rip off Star Wars for the story. Well, that was some foreshadowing for the big reveal in Mythic Quest Episode 8, where viewers discover early on that Pootie Shoe (the show’s PewDiePie parody), real name Brendan, is actually Ian’s son....
It was confirmed on Twitter by Rob McElhenney, Mythic Quest star and creator, that production on season 2 is shutting down for now. “We are working on a plan to make sure no one misses a paycheck,” McElhenney explained in his announcement. “These are strange times and we need to take care of each other.” Mythic Quest season 2 is just the latest TV show to shutdown in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, with production halting on projects like Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Netflix’s Stranger Things season 4....
“Mouse Hunt,” the eighth episode of this season, was more of what has been the same this particular run. That’s especially frustrating after the series seemed to be having a bit of a return to form over the last three episodes of Mythic Quest. “Mouse Hunt,” in fact, did everything that didn’t work in some of the previous installments. There was the fact that a 20-minute episode was trying to tell two very different stories and that one of those stories didn’t need to be told at all....
The N.C. State Wolfpack prevailed Saturday by one run, setting up a winner-take-all on Sunday. N.C. State then eeked out a one-run win, 3-2, over the Hogs in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Joseph Michael Bieniek, 24, was detained by deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office last Saturday after being found inside a premises without any clothing and still holding a hammer he allegedly used to smash up windows and doors, the Fort Myers News-Press reported. According to the newspaper, law enforcement was contacted by an employee of one business, United Plumbing, at roughly 2 a.m. The unidentified staff member, who was working a late shift at the Youngquist Road warehouse, told police Bieniek had not threatened him....
